The continued growth in this area is proven by the new 2000 census data and promises to continue with the additional development in the surrounding areas.  Growth in the last decade surrounding 730 West Randolph has been outstanding.  The surrounding population has doubled since 1990 from 4,200 to over 9,300.  The number of households has gone up from 2,000 to over 5,100.  The average household income has almost tripled since 1990.  It is now currently at $62,000 from $24,000 in 1990.  The Labor force has doubled from 4,000 to over 8,400.  Therefore, the overall employment of the area has also doubled.  From these facts one can see that this area is growing and with all these new developments it shows no signs of decline.
