An Enterprise Zone is a specific
area designated by the City
of Chicago and certified by the
State of Illinois to receive various tax incentives and
other benefits. The purpose of Enterprise
Zones are the stimulation of economic activity and the revitalization
of neighborhoods.
By taking
advantage of the incentives offered under the Enterprise
Zone designation, businesses are able to lower operating
expenses, while increasing profits. There are six different
Enterprise Zones within the City of Chicago limits. The building
located at 730 W. Randolph is included
in the Cook
County Enterprise Zone #4 (per map) |
